Utah Sweet Salt comes from the evaporation of ancient seas that, 200 million years ago, covered almost all of North America.
Volcanic eruptions in the area later buried the salt, preserving it from contamination and impurities.
Its reddish hue comes from over 50 trace elements and natural iodine that were "trapped" in the salt due to volcanic activity.
Grams: 100gr.
It is actually the flower of salt ("Fler de Sel"), that carefully collected by hand from the top of the salt pan, before it sinks, integrates and crystallizes with the rest of the salt pan.
Use it in all foods to add flavor and aroma.
Ideal for salads, savory crepes, and sweet preparations that require a little salt.
