It is consumed as a tea made from the plant’s dried leaves and flowers. To prepare it, add 1–2 teaspoons of dried leonurus to 1 cup of hot water (not boiling).
Cover it and let it steep for about 10–15 minutes. Strain it, and it is ready to drink.
